This solution was designed to provide shoppers with a massive aggregator of eBay and Amazon search queries, allowing to find deals on products from multiple vendors within milliseconds.
The original version of the platform wasn’t yet powerful enough to gain commercial success, so the customer was looking for a reliable partner to further develop the product. After SmartexLab proved its ability to deliver, the customer tasked us with upgrading the platform with multi-language support, an extended admin panel and migration to AWS Lambda.

The platform’s interface is now available in six languages: English, German, Dutch, French, Italian and Spanish. Furthermore, the system supports local eBay and Amazon instances.
Admin users can now benefit from the support of multiple languages across 14 domains, the ability to easily edit meta-descriptions and SEO titles, as well as to manage any localized website, including logo and footer customization.
The team enabled affiliate marketing for the customer by attaching Amazon or eBay IDs respectively to the product links appearing in search results.
The platform is able to analyze aggregated user queries and statistical data retrievals by countries and products. What’s more, it is now equipped with an AI/ML algorithm to analyze previous searches and click-throughs so that shoppers can perform a smart selection of goods based on recommendations.
The platform was designed with special attention to mobile shoppers, who make up more than 50% of all online consumers. For this, the solution got a fully responsive interface that is fit for any device.
The solution has an optimized data load algorithm, which decreases retrieval time and saves disk space.
In February 2018, the revamped platform came out and started generating revenue immediately, providing buyers with a competitive digital shopping experience.
Satisfied with the results of collaboration with SmartexLab, the customer stayed for the ongoing maintenance phase. Currently, we are planning to migrate data loading algorithms to AWS Lambda.
