Key features and highlights

  • CRUD Operations

SmartexLab enhanced the interface by refactoring CRUD (create-read-update-delete) operations on the client side, which helped to reduce the backend load during traffic spikes and other resource-intensive processes.

  • Interface Functionality and Responsiveness

To make the website responsive to any device, SmartexLab overhauled it using such technologies as CSS3, LESS, and Angular Material.

Also, the team refactored some frontend entities of events to make them clearer for visitors, adding new fields.

  • Routes for Use Cases

SmartexLab improved the website’s usability by adding new routes for some use cases, such as a new module for event details.

Business challenge

The client is a US-based tech company operating a wide range of digital solutions, from web and mobile apps to experimental next-generation technology and media ventures of all sizes.

One of the client’s projects is an event management portal helping to search, create, host, and advertise different types of events. It allows potential customers to find appropriate vendors for their events, while, for vendors, it provides the opportunity to introduce their services, get hired, and rated.

The company was looking to revamp this portal to introduce new features and make it more appealing to the audience. Considering its long-standing partnership with SmartexLab, the client handed over the task to us without looking for other partners.

Delivered solution

The event management portal required bug fixing as well as revamping of a few aspects, such as the structure, business logic, use case routes, and interface responsiveness.

Project results

SmartexLab enhanced the portal usability by making it responsive for any device and adding extra features enhancing visitors’ experience.

The team refactored CRUD operations, added extra fields to the existing modules, and implemented routes for new use cases.

The project was completed on time and within the budget, helping the client to drive increased audience engagement with the revamped website.
