What is personal data?

What information does SmartexLab collect about you?
SmartexLab collects two types of information about you.
1: ID and contact information. First and last names, title, email address, phone number.
2: Automatically collected technical information. Information acquired using Google Analytics and any other website management and optimization tools we may use. We do not collect any other types of data. We do not collect any kind of special personal data, defined by GDPR as data including details of your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic or biometric data.
Please contact us with any changes to your personal information and will take reasonable steps to update our records and ensure that the information about you that is in our possession is accurate and up-to-date.
When does SmartexLab collect your information?
When you contact SmartexLab to submit a support ticket, sign up to a newsletter or reach out to us via email, telephone, post, live chat or contact form, we may retain your personal details and the communications involved. This is so that we can process your inquiries, respond to your tickets, provide you with a newsletter and improve the Website.
Automatically collected information
SmartexLab collects, stores and retrieves information from your computer or mobile device, including what types of activities you perform on the Website, your location, demographic data, behavior, interests and the type of hardware and software you are using, such as what operating system and browser you are running.
How does SmartexLab use your information?

How does SmartexLab process your personal information, and how long do we do it for?
SmartexLab may use your personal information to send you emails and/or newsletters periodically listing news or events having to do with the Website and other services we offer. You can opt out of these communications by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails, or by sending an email to email@example.com. Once SmartexLab has processed your opt-out request, the Company will not send you any more promotional or newsletter emails unless and until you opt back in.
The personal information we use to send you promotional and newsletter emails, or that we use in relation to your support tickets, is stored and processed only for this purpose. We will stop processing it and delete it when you withdraw your consent or unsubscribe from newsletters. We will never store your personal information for more than two years after your last interaction with SmartexLab.
What third parties do we disclose your information to?
We never sell, transfer or otherwise disclose your personal information to outside or third parties, with these exceptions: under some exceptional circumstances, we are required or empowered by law to collect, use or disclose your personal information.
How does SmartexLab safeguard your personal information?
SmartexLab takes appropriate security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These measures include but are not limited to internal reviews of the company’s data collection, storage and processing practices, electronic security measures and physical security measures designed to guard against unauthorized physical access to the systems where SmartexLab stores your personal information.
